skip skip is a calm stone-skipping game for iPhone. Pick a stone, pull back, flick it low across the water and count the skips.

About the game

skip skip is built on real, deterministic physics: every stone has its own shape and weight, and the angle, speed and spin of a throw decide how far it travels. Players skip stones at five real places, Moraine Lake, Lake Windermere, Cannon Beach, Glenmore Reservoir and the Sooke Potholes, each with its own light, water and shoreline.

The Daily Stone gives everyone the same stone, wind and water, three throws a day. Signature Shot is 15 obstacle stages of buoys, arches, logs, piers and canoes. Every throw can be replayed, and a replay link challenges a friend to beat the exact same stone. Game Center leaderboards and 55 badges round it out. No ads, no accounts, no purchases, and no data collected.
